What is happening in
Scotland is happening all over the world. What this means for HeartStrong is that our
burden of responsibility is greater than ever. As enrollment at most
religious schools explodes, our work becomes more and more important.
For several years, we have been talking openly about the efforts being made
in the U.S. to make religious schools more appealing to non-religious
parents seeking educational options for their children. It’s working here
and around the world.
That means more and more GLBT students in these schools will need to hear
our message of hope.
